Evangelist: Dr. Allan Coppedge
Dr. Allan Coppedge is a professor of Systematic Theology and Wesley Studies at Asbury Theological Seminary, where he has taught since 1977.
Dr. Coppedge served as academic dean and professor of Old Testament at the Biblical Seminary of Colombia, South America, where he was under appointment as a missionary with OMS International. A member of the North Georgia Conference of The United Methodist Church, Dr. Coppedge has experience as a pastor in both Georgia and Kentucky, and has preached extensively in Central and South America, as well as in Scotland and England.
He is also currently the president of The Barnabas Foundation, an organization founded to promote discipleship ministries in seminaries, colleges, local churches and mission organizations.
He is married to Beth Kinlaw Coppedge. Al and Beth live in Wilmore Kentucky, have four children,
Katy Beth, Christy, William Asbury and Susannah,
and eight grandhildren.
