ABF stands for a group of Adults, gathering to study the Bible, and working toward developing Fellowship in community. The Adult Bible Fellowship offerings are long-term, ongoing classes, designed to provide a place for learning, discussion, and relationship and community building. If you are looking for a place where you can know and be known by others, connect yourself to an ABF. If you are looking for a place to learn and grow, connect yourself to an ABF. If you are looking for a group of people who will care about you, connect yourself to an ABF.
Electives are occasional offerings that help supplement our adult Christian education experience. Electives are short-term classes (up to one year) that cover specific material. They are not designed to provide the pastoral care and social elements that ABFs do. Often, people choose to be permanently connected to ABFs, while occasionally taking advantage of electives.
*All Adult Bible Fellowship classes meet from 9:40–10:40 a.m. on Sunday mornings, unless otherwise noted.

The Free Indeed ABF seeks to deepen our relationship with Christ and build relationships with each other. Everyone who is college-age is welcome; you don’t have to be a college student. The class meets in a coffee-house format (with breakfast included each Sunday!) with a discussion-based lesson. Members are free to participate in the discussion or just listen and munch. Van pickup is on the Asbury University campus at the OMS house at 9:30 a.m., and drop-off is at the cafeteria around 12:15 p.m., after the 10:50 a.m. worship service. Dave and Carol Coulliette, leaders. |

Cafe Berea attempts to live up to its name by offering a simple breakfast while studying together God's Word. Come hungry! We are currently digging deep into the book of First Corinthians. The first half of the teaching time is invested into teaching and discussing the text, then the last half discussing the implications of the text for our lives today. Periodic social events and a community garden in the summer months are both part of the group as well. Fred Long serves as the primary leader/teacher.

The vision of the Homebuilders ABF is to study how God’s Word speaks practically to present-day families. Each week the class begins with fellowship over breakfast, followed by a time of prayer. The study portion of class alternates between Bible book studies and topical studies. The class hosts monthly fellowship opportunities for members and their families to get together. Ben Riffell, Bryan Blankenship and Byron Skaggs share leadership of this ABF. |

The Layman's class will start the fall with a series called "From Malachi to the Messiah" which will be a look at the period between the testaments which should take about 6 weeks or so. This will be followed by a look at the gospel accounts of the events leading up to the birth of Christ take us through the Christmas season. Then, starting in January 2012, we plan an in-depth study of 1 and 2 Thessalonians.
The Layman's class is a mixed bag, attended by singles and marrieds in age ranges from the 20's to the 80's. We all learn from each other. Those attending the class will have numerous opportunities to visit and feed the families of the sick, pray for the unsaved, and encourage one another.
Coffee is always available and heavily partaken of. Food and snacks, rarely. John Swaim, leader. |

Wrestling with Truth is a vigorous Bible study that enhances our love for the Lord and our vision for winning the lost. Each week we're challenged to identify and apply scriptural truth. Currently, the study involves how John reveals Jesus as the Divine Son of God and considering how we can do the same today. Timothy Thomas and Melanie Kierstead, leaders.
