  Youth Ministry  
     
 
High School Youth Ministry
 
 
  Meets: Wednesday 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.  
  The main student ministry event of the week, our Wednesday activities seek to develop the spiritual life of high school students through a variety of activities including: times of worship, study, prayer, fun, fellowship and service.  Dinner begins the event most Wednesdays.  
     
 
Middle School Youth Ministry
 
 
  Meets: Wednesday 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.  
  Middle School Youth Ministry's goal is to partner with parents in providing a safe, challenging place for students to grow and mature into young men and women of faith. Plenty of fun, music and great people make this ministry special.  Dinner together begins the event most Wednesdays.  
     
 
Student Bible Fellowship Classes
 
 
  Meets: Sunday, 9:40 to 10:40 a.m.  
  Each Sunday at 9:40 a.m. Middle School and High School age ABF 's meet together for Bible study and fellowship. There are classes for MS Guys, MS Girls, and High School students.  
     
 
Student Prayer Breakfast
 
 
  Meets: Tuesday, 7:15 to 8:00 a.m.  
  Start each Tuesday during the school year with prayer.and a great breakfast! The Student Ministry Team leads students in a reflective time of prayer in the Sanctuary, then breakfast follows. Come join the growing number of teens who find it critical to start their days with prayer.  
     
  Middle School and High School Fun Fridays  
  Meets: Two Friday Evenings Each Month  
  These are fun events designed for social interaction.  Bowling, Ice Skating, Picnics, Hiking, ball games and other age-appropriate events can be expected.  
     
  Special Events  
  Meets: Occasionally  
  WFMC Youth Ministry participates with the Jessamine Youth Leadership Association in providing area-wide activities for all the youth and student ministries in Jessamine County.  Some of these include: 30 Hour Famine, Homeless Event (Cardboard Village), New Year's Lock-in, Ichthus and Back to School Bash.  
     
  Days Away  
  Meets: Occasionally  
  These are great events that are reserved for days where school is out.  King's Island, hiking at Natural Bridge...things like that.  Fun times that honor God.  
     
  Retreats and Camps  
  Meets: Varies  
 

There are several retreats each spring and fall for middle and high school teens.  We also participate in the New South Conference camping ministries at Eagle Ridge Retreat Center, which include fall and spring retreats and a week-long summer camp for senior and young teens.
