What is your most treasured possession?

My most treasured possession is the family that God has given me. I was raised in a wonderful Christian home and now have my own family that brings me so much joy.

What's a book or movie during which you laughed or cried (or both)?

My daughter would say that I cry through most movies. I did cry through several parts of Finding Neverland. Movies that leave children without parents really get to me.

What prayer has God answered in your life recently?

God answers my prayer for daily strength and stamina for our family every year. Some times of the year are more strenuous than others and it always amazes me when I think back at those times and see how God has sustained us.

Name a time in your life when God showed up in an amazing way.

God directed our lives when He brought us to Wilmore. After graduate school we thought we would go into a church somewhere, but didn't know where. After interviewing in one location and not feeling God's approval, a phone call came from Asbury College that brought us to Wilmore and to the Wilmore Free Methodist Church .

  What really matters to you?

Many things matter to me, but my relationship with God is first. My family and then the church are important parts of my life.

What is your favorite restaurant meal?

My favorite restaurant meal is the Cajun chicken linguini at Red Lobster. I know - you are supposed to eat seafood at Red Lobster, but I am not a seafood lover.

What is your vision for ministry at Wilmore FM Church?
My vision for this church is that every child would be so firmly grounded in their relationship with God that they could live their whole life as a child of God.
