What's your favorite time of day?
I love evening.  There's something soothing about the closing of the day, expecially after the kids are in bed.

What is your most treasured possession?
My memories of time with family, grandparents, aunts, uncles, parents. Many of them are dead now, but my time with them lives on in my mind.  I look forward to seeing them in heaven.

What's a book or movie during which you laughed or cried (or both)?

"Cars" - It was great (Not great in the celestial sense, just great in the fun sense).

What prayer has God answered in your life recently?
The completion of doctoral work.  If I wasn't convinced before, now I know that all things really are possible with God.  I had to sit out a semester of college due to poor grades, so I never thought I could do this.

Name a time in your life when God showed up in an amazing way.

In conducting a funeral for a cousin. It was one of the hardest things I've ever had to do, and God met me there.

What's broken in your life that God’s been fixing?

I'm impatient with change - it doesn't happen fast enough in myself and sometimes in others.  God is teaching me to wait on Him and for His timing.

  What really matters to you?

That my children will choose Christ and that I'll be faithful to Him in every way.

What is your favorite restaurant meal?

No question: Farfalle al Sugo Bianco at the Macaroni Grille. They recently took it off the menu. Apparently I'm the only one who liked it.

What is your vision for ministry at Wilmore FM Church?
In a word, I want the church to be faithful to Jesus and to His plans for us. I really believe in our vision statement.

What would people be most surprised to learn about you?
I love cars, particularly old ones (30's through the early 60's).  I began driving in 1985. Since then, I've owned about 40 cars and trucks. My wife thinks I'm nuts. She may be right.
